What do you think?

I just wanted to propose a question(s).

Do you believe in God? Why or why not?

Where are you going after you die?

What do you think of Church?

What do you think of christians?

For what reason are you on this earth?

Leave a comment or two if you want. At least ponder these questions.
Leave your email address if you would like me to get back to you.

God can change anyone

I have to admit firstly that I sometimes underestimate how powerful God is. I forget that he can do absolutely ANYTHING!!

I was listening to the radio and a guy was talking about how we sometimes may wonder about how someone could be saved. I am referring to those that you would least expect to become christians. Someone who does not really want to have anything to do with christians and their 'rules and regulations'. But if you stop and think about Paul in the bible, originally Saul, he was someone who was so against christians that he would kill them without regret or at least put them in prison. (Acts 9:1-2)

God had other plans for him "...This man is my chosen instrument..." (Acts 9:15) God used him to bring many to knowing Christ as their Saviour. Likewise, God has plans for our lives as well. He wants us to live a life that is honouring and pleasing to him. He wants us to be obedient to him.

I would like to encourage you if you do not know Christ as your Saviour that you ask a christian about how to become a christian or attend a local church. God does not expect much from us compared to what he has done for us. God has a purpose for each and everyone here on Earth. We do not have much time so we need to make the most of it.

Give thanks to God for what he has done for us.

The Power

Port Adelaide lost their game tonight. They did not do well at all. A lot of why they lost can be related to the way they played. They tried to play indirect footy by kicking it near the boundaries and to uncontested players. This stopped them from taking marks in their forward 50 and kicking goals.

Christians can 'play the game' like this. They try to water down the truth of what the bible says, or they ignore issues that should be dealt with. They try to win people to Christ by taking the harder and longer way around.

Adelaide were playing well tonight. They worked together as a team because they were helping each other out and they went straight down the middle and took more contested marks than Port Adelaide. This allowed them to kick many more goals.

Christians have to work together as a team and confront struggles together so that they can achieve their 'goals' and 'win' people to Christ for God's glory.

How are you playing? How spiritually fit are you? Are you winning others for Christ?
