GodTube is the 'Christian alternative' (for want of better words) to the YouTube website. I haven't had much of a look at it yet, as videos take a fair bit of bandwidth, but I am looking forward to having a further look into it. this is a stupid idea, just put all the same stuff on YouTube why does there need to be some other one when there is a perfectly good one that is i am sure much better, christian or god tube is stupid and lacks big time, it is dedicated to the wrong people, Jesus would be on YouTube where people who have ears can hear
People could upload their videos to both YouTube and GodTube and reach a wider audience. I didn't mean to say that all Christian content should go on GodTube, etc - Sorry if I gave that impression.
If people only uploaded Christian content to GodTube, that goes against the shining light in the Bible parable. We should be a shining light in the darkness.

I reckon when we create Christian versions of things we tend to create barriers between Christians and Non-Christians.
A case study would be Christian Book Shops. Imagine if we closed down all Christian book shops tommorrow...We'd still want to read Christian books so naturally we'd have to order them in through a normal bookstore. Given that there is a Christian market there would possibly be a Christian section in a secular bookshop or at least the religious section would have a greater presence of Christian books. This would result in Christian books being exposed to the secular market and secular thinkers. It would put our books more into mainstream debate as opposed to isolating our views because their Christian views.
